Winter night, look at the southern sky. There are three brightly shining stars. They are Sirius, Betelgeuse and PROCYON.These three stars are called 'winter triangle' or 'great southern triangle' and they are reference points of observing constellations in winter. Procyon is the alpha star of the constellation Canis Minor the Small Dog. And it is among the 10 brightest stars from Earth's sky.Procyon, which is shining brightly in the southern sky, is shining toward us today.
